Saturday June 27, 2026 Program: Simone de Jong, who runs the online needlework shop Soed Idee, will take us on a journey through the history of Dutch samplers. She will discuss why she is drawn to them and share numerous photos of pieces from her personal collection.
 
Saturday July 25, 2026 Program: Claudia Dutcher will speak on Sudbury samplers, focusing on samplers from a forgotten school for destitute girls.
 
August 2026 Picnic! (in-person) Date and place TBD. Keep an eye on your newsletter.
 
September 26, 2026 Program: Alexandra Peters will bring us a presentation on Quaker samplers. In the 1700s girls at Quaker schools created legant marking, darning, and extract samplers including stitched three dimensional globes.
